The Master of Promotion ...

Even Frank Scoblete's Wikipedia page gives us the following warning:

Frank Scoblete

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wikipedia has tagged Frank's bio as "Puffery" - That his bio "contains wording that promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information(December 2011)" AND "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. (December 2011)"

From wiki - Frank Scoblete worked for a time as a high school teacher, teaching English and an innovative class in Science Fiction at Lawrence High School on Long Island ...

In 1975 Scoblete experimented with acting, and in 1979 co-founded The Other Vic Theatre Company, a professional touring troupe that played dinner theatres, resorts, and charities. During his time with the Company, Scoblete produced, directed, and acted in approximately 50 plays. In 1985, while researching the role of a gambler for the play The Only Game in Town, Scoblete and his co-star Alene Paone went to Atlantic City to do some research, which made them realize that they liked gambling more than acting. The play toured for four months. Scoblete sold his share of the theatre company in 1989 ...

.... Edward Burns states what most Psychiatrists will declare as a common trait of actors.

As a literary expert, it is interesting that Frank Scoblete favors Shakespeare so much ... maybe even copying his writing style by embellishing the original facts:

Many believe that Frank Scoblete has embellished the accomplishments of The Captain and The Arm throughout his writings to promote his books, products, and services being sold.

I dont want to beat a dead horse....BUT a question for Frank S
when the captain asked you not to divulge his name for your entire life. IT probably was expressed in one of 2 ways

1-Captain: "Frank S please dont ever divulge my name even after I die because ........................................................"
2- Captain-"Frank S please dont ever divulge my name even after I die(silence)"
Frank S--"sure captain, but why is that"

so the question is..........................why

...everybody has to make money some how, if Frank can do it by selling books more power to him. I t sure would beat going to work everyday doing some job that you hated. Unfortunately his audience is nothing but gamblers, so they will turn on him, because they can't win. If everything he wrote about worked the casinos would be out of business!
Writers have turned gambling into a very lucrative business for themselves, there are always going to be guys like me that say tell me it isn't so. We want to see the proof that what they are writing about could happen, in the case of the Captain,.. Frank would have a hard time proving that the Captain's roll ever happened. There are to many things that just don't add up. Like when the roll happened there were 30 people standing around the table and nobody ever came forward to say they were there. Then you had is roll by roll count, telling his readers what happened at different points in the roll, but he wasn't writing the rolls down so, does he have a photographic memory?
He made sure that he led you in a different direction when he wrote about his own roll that he said the Dominator was tracking when he had his 89 number roll. So did that set everybody up to believe that there was somebody tracking the Captains roll when there wasn't anybody tracking the Captains roll?
I can't tell you how many times I've hear that was just a fifty roll when the shooter only had a 29 roll, because nobody was tracking the rolls. But Frank wrote that he was using chips to track the roll, but that can't explain how he could write about what happened at different points in the roll. Again does Frank have a photographic memory? I love the one paragraph in his book when he was writing about the Captains roll.

Well Frank got what he wanted when he wrote about the Captain, what he also got was those that wanted to question the Captains roll, because Frank can't prove that it happened. Yes,... the Captain gave Frank all of the things he wanted! Along with the guys that wanted to question the Captains roll.
And now Frank gives us -30- ..... With no answers to our questions!
